Landing Pages

I’ve written, wire-framed, assisted with design, and built many a landing page over the years. Usually with WordPress. I am a avid power-user of the WordPress Block Editor (aka Gutenberg).

At Kinsta developing and continually updating landing pages is big business. It involves gathering up-to-date technical content from all across the organization. Things move (and change) fast as new and updated products move rapidly to market.

On the samples below:

  • I was the lead copywriter
  • Worked with a designer to create pixel perfect prototypes in Figma using our design system and new/existing Blocks and Template Parts
  • Then, build the pages on the live site with the WordPress block editor, coordinating with front-end developers if custom functionality needed to be built

I worked on these pages as Kinsta was growing from a boutique Managed WordPress host to a Platform as a Service (PaaS) adding application, database, and static site hosting to their product lines. There were a lot of moving, and ever-changing parts, requiring coordination with the Product Development, Product Research, Internal Documentation, and Design teams.

Here’s a selection of the 25+ pages I was the ‘owner’ on:
